Solar Panel Install Church Sunshine Coast

OneAU Energy is proud to announce the successful delivery of a 39.6kW commercial solar installation at the Churches of Christ Basin Pocket Social Housing community in Ipswich, Queensland. This project, completed in partnership with Locality Planning Energy (LPE) — the embedded electricity provider for the site — highlights our shared commitment to creating more sustainable, affordable energy solutions for these communities communities.

The system features a Sungrow 30kW inverter paired with 90 high-efficiency Jinko 440W panels, ensuring robust performance, durability, and maximum generation capacity under Queensland’s sunny conditions.

This installation is part of a broader initiative to reduce the carbon footprint and running costs of social housing facilities, enabling organisations like Churches of Christ to reinvest savings into vital services and support. With the system now operational, residents of the Basin Pocket community will benefit from cleaner, cheaper energy and a reduced reliance on the grid.

We’re proud to work alongside forward-thinking partners like LPE, who play a vital role in bringing embedded network benefits to life for social and affordable housing providers across Queensland.

This project stands as another example of OneAU Energy’s dedication to delivering smart, sustainable solar solutions tailored to the needs of commercial and community-focused clients.
